If you have not ordered through AGThomas before, please read the following details. We particularly draw your attention to Prices and Payment sections.



Write, telephone, Fax or call into our showroom  - we will be pleased to hear from you. 

Email orders now also accepted - for current account holders. Please do not include credit card detail with emails.

Order forms and order cards (post paid) are supplied to account holders and we endeavour to dispatch all urgent orders by return of post. Invoices will be sent with the goods, unless otherwise stated. When ordering please state quantity required, AGT stock number, description of article, size, type, etc. Urgent orders received by phone or Fax before 4pm are dispatched the same day.


If the parts you have ordered are in stock your order will normally be sent out within 24 hours. The stock held is vast but occasionally items ordered are not available on receipt of order. We will supply all that is in stock and forward the outstanding items as soon as possible. A blue slip numbered LO.......... will be sent with the original consignment showing which items are to follow. Please quote the LO number and description if information is required about any of these items.


All prices are shown exclusive of UK Value Added Tax.

Every effort is made to maintain published prices but these cannot be guaranteed and the price charged will be that ruling at the date of dispatch. VAT is charged at the rate ruling at the relevant tax point.


An appropriate sum is added to cover postage, packing and insurance. All goods dispatched by us are covered by our insurance.

PAYMENT - We have various payment options:

CREDIT CARD - Orders accepted using major credit cards. At the time of ordering please quote in full the card number, expiry date, card holders name & full address and sign the order. Download an Order Form here

MONTHLY CREDIT ACCOUNT - To open a credit account references are required from two companies with whom you have credit facilities, and the name and address of your bank with account number.
Settlement of the account is due by the last day of the month following that in which the goods were invoiced. Settlement discount is only applicable if the payment is received on or before the due date. Becoming an account customer

CASH WITH ORDER - Please send a cheque made payable to A G Thomas (Bradford) Ltd., crossed ‘Account Payee’ and marked ‘not to exceed . . . . . . ‘ and it will be completed with the correct amount. If you wish to telephone with your requirements we can tell you the price of the goods before VAT and postage etc.

DEPOSIT ACCOUNT - A sum of money can be deposited and goods are dispatched against this while there are sufficient funds to cover the goods required. You are informed when a further deposit is required.

PRO-FORMA INVOICE - After processing your order a Pro Forma invoice is sent to you. The goods are then held for up to 30 days, and upon receipt of your payment, are sent immediately.


Any descriptions, sizes, dimensions, weights, capacities etc. given in any of our publications are given in good faith for guidance only and are not guaranteed as absolutely correct. Therefore, if necessary, we reserve the right to withdraw, change or substitute items without prior notice.


Title of goods is reserved by A G Thomas (Bradford) Ltd. until payment of the purchase price is made in full. Until payment in full is received the buyer must permit A G Thomas (Bradford) Ltd. or their agents to enter the Buyers premises to re-posses the goods. Responsibility for maintenance and insurance passes to the Buyer upon receipt of the goods.


If a package is received damaged, or there are shortages, the packing and outer wrapping must be retained, and the carrier, or Post Office as well as ourselves, must be informed within three days.


Should an error occur, please contact us immediately providing full details, including your order date, the invoice number and any other relevant details.


Goods can only be accepted for credit or exchange if they are returned within 7 days of invoice date and in their original condition. The invoice number must be quoted. If the goods were correctly supplied and are returned after 7 days there will be a handling charge.


Our extensive Showroom and Trade Counter is open 8.30am - Noon, 1.30pm - 4pm, Monday to Friday. The full range of our various lines are on display and demonstrations of certain items of equipment can be arranged. There is also a changing range of ends of lines, bargains and special promotions displayed.

If you are travelling a long way to visit us, please telephone for an appointment so that we can look after you properly. There are regular Open Days when we are delighted to welcome you and you can browse round the stock and meet the staff who service your orders.
